Privacy during training, coaching and yoga class

When you participate in a training, yoga class or use personal or career coaching, personal data is collected. The basis is that I do not record more than necessary, and that I handle your data and privacy carefully and with respect. I hereby comply with the AVG (General Data Protection Regulation) at all times.

The data is used to issue an invoice and to send a digital newsletter. If you do not wish to receive a newsletter, you can easily unsubscribe. At the bottom of each newsletter you will find a link ‘unsubscribe from the newsletter’.

Data collected during personal, burnout or career coaching is stored in a secure file and kept for a maximum of six months after completion of the coaching process. This data is not shared with third parties.

If you register for a training using the registration form, this data will be stored in a secure file and kept for a maximum of six months after completion of the training. This data is not shared with third parties.

Data will only be passed on to third parties if the requested service cannot otherwise be performed or if there is a legal obligation. When I share your data, there are agreements with these third parties to ensure, among other things, that they are not used for other purposes.

You have the right to view, change or delete your data. If the changes have consequences for participation in or purchase of services, you will be notified.

Privacy in body-oriented psychotherapy

For proper treatment it is necessary that I, as the treating therapist, create a file. This is also a legal obligation imposed by the WGBO (Medical Treatment Contract Act). Your file contains the treatment agreement, medical questionnaire, notes about your health condition and reports of the sessions. The file may also contain information that is necessary for your treatment and that I have requested from another healthcare provider, for example from the general practitioner, only after your explicit permission.
I do my best to guarantee your privacy. This means, among other things, that I handle personal and medical data with care, and ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to your data. As a treating therapist, I have sole access to the data in your file. I have a legal duty of confidentiality (professional secrecy).

The data from your file can also be used for the following purposes:

For use in observation, when I am absent for a longer period of time: I have a replacement appointment with a fellow therapist. It is also subject to professional secrecy and applies the same rules as described in this document.
For anonymized use during peer review.
To inform other care providers, for example when the therapy has been completed or when a referral is made to another practitioner. This only happens with your explicit permission.
A small part of the data from your file is used for the financial administration, so that I can draw up an invoice.

If I want to use your data for another reason, I will first inform you and ask for explicit permission. The data in the client file is kept for 20 years, as required by the WGBO.

Privacy on the care bill

The care bill you receive contains the information requested by the health insurer, so that you can declare this bill to the health insurer.

Name, address and place of residence
Date of birth or insurance number
Date of treatment
Brief description of the treatment, such as ‘session of body-oriented psychotherapy’
Cost of the consultation
